Videopiano is a playful animated piano for museum exhibitions, music institutions and other public spaces. The animated notes can be projected on any existing piano. Just follow the lights and play the song.

Videopiano
Videopiano is easy to setup. It only needs a piano, a video projector and a computer. Existing pianos need few non-invasive modifications: projection area must be created (white flat surface), black piano keys must be overlayed with white vinyl stickers.
Home use
Our solution is meant for public institutions, but is also available for home use for free. Code and documentation is available at Github.
Videopiano is an original concept from 2009 by Timo Toots and Eve Arpo. Since 2020 it is in active re-development.
